Emerald Haus is run by Emily Hinshaw, a vibrant and nonconforming LGBTQ+ event planner in Kansas City, challenging the norm to create love parties that break free from tradition. With a unique blend of organizational skills and creative flair, she dedicated to inclusivity, celebrating love in all its forms, and fostering a community of like-minded vendors. Emily is building a luxury service for out of the box couples while creating a space for inclusivity.
Owner and lead Planner, Emily, came to me wanting a fine tune their brand identity to reflect the services they provide and to attract the clientele that fit their services. Known for their bold approach to design and planning, along with their focus on core values… inclusivity, truth, trust, and fun it was easy to see Emerald Haus needed an elevated but bold identity we’re calling “fine detailed luxury meets doc martins with a slip dress”.
With a bit of badass class and soulful flair, this identity was crafted to be 100% intentional and authentic to the owner/planner. Through luxe, editorial type & bold tones, we created a truly unique identity that welds sexy glam and edgyy-ness into one — creating a visual identity that completely breaks free of the standard wedding industry design mold.
